Subject: Finding new ways to help the life of people with disabilities.
Goal of the Project: Make a working solution/prototype for improving any aspect of the life of people with disabilities, even more so in the era of smart cities.

Choosing your Project

​

 You may suggest a relevant topic associated to the subject of the Hackaton (pending approval from the organizers).

OR

​

 Solve one of the topics suggested above:

1. Create a website that will serve as a DB for disability-friendly places.
2. Develop a component with a sensor that will allow paralyzed patients to communicate
using eyes and eyebrows movements.
3. Develop a video possessor that will identify an eye distress signal from a paralyzed patients.

4. In order to navigate safely in internal building, implement one of the following:

• APK that measure ranges from few (3-5) FTM Responder devices.

• Basic PE that calculate positioning (trilateration) based on the ranges and the placement (X,Y<Z) of the FTM responder devices. For more info

• Smart solutions for road crossing.

• Finding free disabled parking places.

• Accessible communication between municipality services to citizens with different disabilities.
